第二學(xué)期下半學(xué)期的同學(xué)應(yīng)該接觸到一般過去時(shí)了。說到英語的一般過去時(shí)，我們中國(guó)的學(xué)生、特別是小學(xué)生，對(duì)它可能不是很熟悉，因?yàn)樵跐h語里面，沒有動(dòng)詞的時(shí)態(tài)變化。那么在什么樣的情況下，我們要用到一般過去時(shí)呢?一般過去時(shí)主要表示過去某時(shí)發(fā)生的動(dòng)作或情況(包括習(xí)慣性動(dòng)作)，一般過去時(shí)由動(dòng)詞的過去式表示。也就是說在講到以前發(fā)生或做過的事，動(dòng)詞就要用一般過去式。

英語動(dòng)詞過去式的構(gòu)成有好幾種，今天先談?wù)刡e動(dòng)詞。

1.Be動(dòng)詞的過去式

例句

I was a little boy two years ago.(一般過去時(shí))

兩年前我還是個(gè)小男孩。

I am a little boy. (一般現(xiàn)在時(shí))

我是一個(gè)小男孩。

You were in Shanghai last year.(一般過去時(shí))

你去年在上海。

You are in Shanghai. (一般現(xiàn)在時(shí))

你在上海。

My grandma was young then.(一般過去時(shí))

我奶奶那時(shí)還年輕。

My grandma is young. (一般現(xiàn)在時(shí))

我奶奶很年輕。

Our school was small then.(一般過去時(shí))

那時(shí)，我們的學(xué)校很小。

Our school is small. (一般現(xiàn)在時(shí))我們學(xué)校很小。

He and I were in the same class in Grade One.(一般過去時(shí))
