The Lansings celebrated Bethany’s 11th birthday with a superb cruise. When Bethany returns to Helping Hand Home to visit, the first thing everyone comments on is her self-confidence. The little girl who was once afraid to make eye contact is now a secure, funny young lady who would talk your ear off.

He was still a bit weak, so Indra rolled a wheelchair to bring him downstairs. As always, the ward was neat and tidy, and the old fellow's eyes of expectations were fixed on the door. “Time to go, Mr. Dev...” Indra said, helped him sit down and pushed the wheelchair into the lift carefully.Her eyes were misty when she saw how sad the old man looked. She bent over and wiped his tears gently with a handkerchief. “Everything would be fine,” she reassured him. Then the flashing light indicated they were arriving at the ground level.
“Papa!” , a shaking voice cried out from a middle aged woman when the lift doors opened. She rushed forward and hugged the old man in the wheelchair. Both of them began to weep. Indra smiled through her tears. She later learnt that the daughter had just contacted the civil - administration department, where she got news about her missing father.Mr.Dev's eager expeclation had been answered. It was the miracle she had prayed for. Indra left the scene of the reunion and went to look for the administrator. She was eager to share with him the "bad" news that his trip to collect Mr.Dev was a wasted one.

本文以人物為線索展開。Sneha的班主任老師Pravin要求Sneha在一部戲里扮演主要男性角色,但是由于購買或者租賃戲服的經(jīng)濟問題,母親不同意她參加這次演出,并強烈要求她拒絕Pravin的邀請。她向Pravin提出不參演這次的演出??闯鯯neha的心思之后,Pravin表示可以拿家里的戲服給她用。最后演出獲得了成功。當Sneha要將戲服還給Pravin時,Pravin將戲服送給她,提醒她不要輕易放棄夢想。

Sneha went to the teacher, “I don’t want to take part in the play and I’m leaving.” Her voice was so determined that Pravina wondered why she had such a change in her attitude. “Mum says I can learn more if I take part in a debate,” she looked away, trying to hide her unwillingness. Soon, Pravina made out what really was shouting in Sneha’s deep heart. With a smile on her face, Pravina promised not only could she perform in the play but she would get the chance to join in the debate. She offered a hand to her, saying there happened to be a costume at home which could be lent to her. Excited secretly, she knew she was going to attend the show.
Pravina stood patiently, waiting for the performance to begin. She was waiting for the precious moment when Sneha appeared in the costume she bought for Sneha’s dream. As the light faded out, the lead role came on stage and caught the attention of all the audience. Confident and brave, she vividly brought the character to life. Everyone cheered and applauded when the show ended as Sneha’s first male character turned out a big success. When Sneha was ready to give back the costume to Pravina, she was told to keep it as a reminder of not easily letting go of dreams.

The music played on. Hamed peered in through a window. His eyes widened in surprise. In the middle of the living room, Mohi was playing the violin. His eyes were closed in concentration as he drew the bow over the strings expertly. He played flawlessly so much so that it sounded like a recording. Then an idea hit Hamed. It was the tradition of the school to have a concert for the teachers. Every class had to contribute an item. It was a good chance for Mohi to show his talent and be accepted by his classmates. Thinking of that, Hamed left quietly.
Before Teacher’s Day concert, Hamed convinced the class to let Mohi perform. Short of ideas, the class agreed. On the day of the concert, both the teachers and students were surprised to see the school’s clumsiest student walking on stage with a violin. When he started to play, the audience fell silent. Jaws dropped. As the last note ended, there was a moment of silence. Then the audience erupted into thunderous applause. Mohi became a sensation and had many fans in his final year of school. Mohi and Hamed became the best of friends eventually.

“Grandpa, a surprise!" Roger shouted when they returned with a big box. Roger led Grandpa to his room in delight. Dad followed, carrying the big box. With great joy Roger opened the box together with Dad. When Grandpa saw the drum with the pedal, his eyes were shining with excitement. “Grandpa, you can play this drum with your foot," Roger said and then pressed the pedal with his foot. The drumstick swung forward. Thump! Thump! Thump! The pedal worked smoothly and the thumps filled the whole room. “Would you like to have a try?" Roger turned to Grandpa with his eyes full of expectation.
Slowly, Grandpa reached out his foot and pushed the pedal as Roger did. Thump! Thump! Grandpa smiled and continued with greater enthusiasm. “Join in, Roger!" Grandpa shouted to Roger excitedly and his cheerful voice was even louder than the drum rolls. Roger grinned from ear to ear as he picked up his drumsticks. He rocked and rolled, and so did Grandpa. With the drums beating merrily, their joyful music shook the whole house like before, not only the whole house, but also the hearts of the grand father and the grandson.
