The new neighbor had limited knitting skills so she asked me to create sweaters for kids in hospital together. I agreed to the act of kindness because I had always been doing such similar things. In my spare time from babysitting, I was making children’s sweaters. A month later, I had done 20. My new neighbor, my son and I sent our gifts to the hospital. We explained our purpose, handed out sweaters to the parents and wished their kids a quick recovery. They all thanked me for our gifts.
Later, my new neighbor wanted to learn my knitting skills to serve the elderly in the nursing home. She really admired my skills, and I was glad to teach her, so she bought a set of loom just like mine. She quickly mastered the skills. Together we made winter hats for the old people in the nursing home. We soon made enough hats and gave them away to the old people, who needed these things badly. I hope that our gifts will make their life a little more comfortable. I’m happy to continue spreading this love to more people.

While the grandmother was in hospital, Julia became much busier. Because the child's parents were out of town, they couldn’t come back due to blockade. Julia had to give the children online lessons and went to the hospital to take care of Philips. Thanks to an extended stay in hospital, Phillips regained most of the movement. On the day of leaving hospital, she said to Julia “If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t’ be here. I can't thank you enough.” With tears in eyes, Julia responded “Lady, this is what we should do. In my two years as a teacher, it was the most meaningful thing I had ever done. I am so glad to see you recover.” After that, Phillips gave her a warm hug.

The two played basketball for nearly an hour until Aubrey had to go back to work. It was an act of kindness that led to a friendship and memories that will last a lifetime.

Monday morning, hiding behind the window, we soon saw what we were waiting for. It turned out that there were three kids from our school.They sneaked up on our snowman and sneered.Taking their places on either side, they pulled back their legs to deliver powerful kicks. But the moment they hit the hard ice block of the base, sneers turned into shock, then agony and tears.They howled and cursed, gritting their teeth and stomping their feet.
Seeing their pained look, we couldn’t help laughing.They were too funny as they hopped away holding their damaged feet.We just couldn’t contain our happiness and excitement.With a hearty laugh, we came out of hiding and sprang into the yard from inside the house. “An eye for an eye! Justice done!” We yelled behind them. And that was the end of our problems with the snowman bullies.
